Youth Anti-Violence Forum - March 6, 2010 (Completed)

The Youth Anti-Violence Forum will employ a task force built of representatives of diverse groups who will work toward increasing our youth’s awareness on the issue of violence beginning in March '10. The Youth Anti-Violence Essay Contest, which began Dec. 1, 2009, asked students ages 11-17 to submit Anti-Violence essays, poetry and artwork representing the topics of bullying and teen driver safety. Six winners will be selected on March 6th 2010 at Clark Atlanta University's Carl & Mary Ware Building. Winners will receive scholarships to go toward school expenses along with monetary awards.

Youth Golf - April 17, 2010 (Completed)

The Youth Golf Clinic Program is one of the extraordinary outreach programs that is offered by the RCF. The program will serve 25 of Atlanta’s Youth with a motivational speaker, kids’ golf clinic with golf pros, nine hole golf experience, and an award reception. RCF partners an adult mentor with a foursome of youth in an effort to allow some of Atlanta’s youth to have hours with some of Atlanta’s finest with the goal of “Empowering Leaders of Tomorrow”.

Father Daughter Dance - June 20, 2010 (Completed)

This is the foundation’s annual gala event that is designed to strengthen the bond between a father and his daughter. Held on Father’s Day, this elegant affair allows daughters as young as 2 years of age to be treated like ladies by their dads. It’s a day neither father or daughter will forget.

Youth Health Fair - October 23, 2010

The program entitled Healthy, Stronger, Living Longer supports the RCF healthy lifestyle incentive by providing a free Youth Health Fair addressing Obesity, Diabetes, Sickle Cell Anemia, Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Asthma, Vision, and Dental Awareness. RCF provides health education workshops such as diabetes awareness, childhood obesity, fun at-home fitness, healthy lifestyle and cooking instruction, your family medical history and portion control. Free testing will be provided by 50 of Atlanta’s top medical doctors and their staffs. This program is for the entire family that targets the youth. however, we are looking to make a difference in our youth now so it will target our youth but not exclusively.

Thanksgiving Night Celebrity Bowling - November 25, 2010

Celebrating the true meaning of the holiday, this fundraiser is in its 19th year. 100% of the funds raised this year will benefit the Ryan Cameron Foundation to continue its programs.
